im and friends are thinking of gg to koh samui at the end of the yr, i wanna follow!!! i dun caaarreeee!!! initially i thought i was gonna be this good girl and leave out any holiday plans till much later cos i m saving up for my lifelong dream, and besides, i wasnt workin then, so money was some kind of an issue.

but now i decide, i just have to have to tag along and make this happen. i just have to. enough is enough is enough. i just have to throw all (well most) caution to the wind and stop being sensible for once. i dun care. i shall be like my cool bro and tell my mum at the last minute after all the bookings are made and no changes can be done. but unlike bro, i will not stay at a haunted hotel and have scary sleepless nights and ramble bout my haunted expeditions when i get home. hahahaha.... i wanna say, 'serve him right'', but i know i dun mean that. more like, 'poor thing' (and ok fine,) serve him right, but just a little...

he still has not told me bout his scariest night there til today tho. when he got home that day, he said he would tell us all bout it the next day, cos it was nightime then. and i could tell he was majorly freaked out, something like, that 'thing' decided to 'play' with all its roomies. but apparently his 'next day' lasted nearly a whole yr..

anyways, so ya... i wanna go! and i hope chin come too, then at least there''ll be more girl power and we both can exploit the guys to carry our shopping bags and bully them together. and at least i wil have a girl companion to go gaga over shopping with instead of going shopping with guys, who would prob give bored, stoned faces and look at their watches once every 5 seconds.

i told mommy i wanna go, and she asks me, 'with who?' and i said, 'with a group.' i havent even told her its with im and gang, cos i'm afraid she would get this wrong idea and ban me from my trip, that is, if she allows it in the first place. then she'll start this long lecture bout looking after myself, and not dressing and looking so 'mambo', whatever tat means in her dictionary...

i know she means well and she cant help it being a mum and all, and i m not gonna start with the "... but i m 24...." crap, cos i have long realised that u dun stop being a mum just cos your son/daughter is 24.. but that still doesnt mean i like long lectures.

that aside, i secretly agree to like, 75% of her opinions, tho i wont openly admit it, of cos. and i think my mum is very competent in her area, i hope i could be half as good as her in future. i also think my mum is freakily, uncannily clairvoyant. and it freaks me out big time. which is partially why i almost always seek for her approval, or restu, when it comes to important things like going on trips and stuff.

let me just give u an insight on how clairvoyant she can be... be prepared to be freaked out...

my fav example is the time when i was in secondary school and decided to go a-loitering with my fellow gal pals, without telling my mum. when i wasnt back at the usual time, mommy got worried but she didnt know who to ask bout me cos i hadnt given her any of my friends' phone no. so she picked up the phone and just decided to call my good friend mona. she dialled 7 (the fixed lines were 7-digits then) random numbers and asked for mona. lo and behold, she got the right number and mona`s sis picked it up.

she asked if mona`s around.
no she isnt.
is this the home of the mona from fairfield?
yes it is.

freaky right.....?! i mean, whats the probability, of getting the combination of 7 digits right in the first attempt???!!!

so pleease mommy, pleeaase, pleeaase... tho i said i dun care and i m gonna go ahead with my plans whatever happens, to tell the truth, her approval means a lot to me.

it'll grant me my peace of mind, for a start...
