i might be 2 days belated in penning this down but i never forget.

my bestie turned 24 2 days ago. she who is a darling and such a blast to be with.

remember our belinda carlisle, we 3 p.l moments with shikin? sitting at the back of the field at jin shan belting out songs? dancing to shikin's bengkel kanak2 dance moves? the random, infrequent phonecalls through sec sch?trying out smoking for the first time? long chill outs at coffee places? ramblings? cackling? bitching? laughing like lunatics?

simply enjoying each others' company.

13 yrs and i only saw her brother for the first time last year. shes only been to my house once. and tho i did hang out at her place quite regularly for a period of time, she doesnt seem to remember it. we dun call each other or meet up on a frequent enuf basis. we prob dunno each others' fav color (ok fine, i know hers is purple a very long time ago i think, and she knows mine is pink), or each others' fav food (then again, we are food lovers who savour almost everything) or her fav movie or... u get my drift.

but these things dun matter.
we do.

we scribbled in our autograph books to promise to stick together: that was 12 yrs back.i m mighty glad we did.



she makes it to my exclusive list of: 'to last a lifetime'.
