was watching `mustika`- a hari raya haji special on suria featuring our local singers singing hari songs and all tat jazz. some of the artistes featured include 2 of the finalists for `anugerah`- the malay equivalent of sg idol. this is not the first time i`ve noticed, but wassup with the tweaked eyebrows doods?! tak leh angkat, man... everytime i see these guys with tweaked eyebrows, some even more arched than me (and i m not ashamed of that), i cringed, looked to my mom and start complaining bout the way our little brudders (in the broad sense of the word, not my own brother-thank goodness) are looking more n more like adik-adiks (unanturally affeminate) nowadays. in fact, the 4 guy finalists from anugerah all had their eyebrows tweaked to wat i say-would gain ziana zain's approval.

she can raise one of her eyebrows and lift weights with it. but shes a woman so, arched eyebrows are ok.. other than the funny hair, i thought she looks quite alright.

but guys with tweaked eyebrows?! *shudders* i dun care wat u say, whether metrosexual is in fashion or not, guys should NOT tweak their eyebrows unless they have unibrow like bert.

its soooo.... un-macho. nana once asked me if i think guys should shave their leg hairs... i was so appalled by her question i stared at her with mouth agape, eyes unblinking much like a goldfish, for a few seconds. i wanted to scream "Whatever the heck are you thinking?!" but words escaped me, for that moment before i regain my voice, nana actually assumed i approve of that! oh the horror! for goodness sake, unless you are some athlete and for some scientific reasons, it make sense to shave off all your hair make your body more streamline or something as baffling as that, please dun. next thing i know, the same guys would be asking me if they should go for boob implants. if we girls want arched eyebrows or touch smooth legs, we'd go look at girls, ok?! but we dun want tat, ok?

gimme the alpha-male-caveman-tarzan anytime over boy george or stephen-wats-his-name-from-boyzone.

nb: please note i m not suggesting i dig guys who stop showering and brushing their teeth and who walks around with a nasty bo. being unhygienic is a totally different issue here. youre a smart reader, go figure.
