after a six-month hibernation period, its time for eileen, elf (my partners in crime throughout my whole 4 yrs in uni) and myself to meet again for our destress session relieving our systems of tension by bitching and laughing like momoks (i m guessing momoks do laugh) for a few hours.

its very refreshing meeting up with old pals and reliving back the days where we still dun have to pay taxes and we havent started working our asses off paying all kinda loans for the rest of our lives.

although i have always enjoyed their company, i dare say its even better now somehow. why, come to think of it i think i actually miss them. heh..

its refreshing cos with old pals, you shed all your obligatory pretense that you put on when you are with colleagues. no need for mindless, polite small talks that i really cant give 2 hoots about. no need to appear all prim and proper and professional. no need to be politically correct. you can just be yourself, you know? and that is something i suppose we treasure after spending a full 5-day week with colleagues.

among the 3 of us, lotsa things have changed.

our hairstyles for one thing. although i was quite shocked initially to see that even though we all change our hairstyles, we actually end up spotting nearly the same cut as each other.. @#$!!%#%!!!!


but some things dun ever do.

eileen still laughs with her hand covering her mouth n her eyes reduced to slits. elf is still blatantly checking out chicks while the eileen n i exchanged our ya-well-tats-elf-look.

eileen is still the cool chick that ive always thought she is while elf still shoots off obscenities like its his first language.

these two still crack me up.

i m glad some things dun change.
