things tat go 'snip'

so much for growing my hair long and playing with curlers.

the body straightening package that i went for yest included a hair cut, and while i started off pleading with the hairdresser not to chop off my locks, i pegi menggatal (itchy hand) asked for the hair catalouge and then bravely requested a layered bob afterwards. this despite me going "hey, thats a nice length," after the rebonding, prior to the cut. (well, 3 hours in the hairdresser chair can do that to people, you know.) besides, i thought it would be lame and not to mention boring, to visit a salon and come out spotting the exact same hairstyle that you came in with. so layered bob it is, but not before i pleaded with the hairdresser not to chop off too much my hair. to which, she repeated with the most saccharine sweet smile, 'not too much..', then nodded her head. jolly good, we have an understanding.

but the instant she went 'snip', i went 'shit'..
3 months of hair growth gone sia.. i wasnt too happy about that and i had half a mind to open my mouth, tell her off and assert my 'dun cut too much' statement. then again i figured, its already too late. but more importantly, something tells me i shouldnt mess around with a girl holding scissors in one hand and my hair in the other. so i shut up (and trust me, it was difficult).

oh well, i guess i could wait for my hair to grow long and play with curlers then. i went to sandstorm in jurong point for my rebonding cos one of my colleague went there and she had nice, voluminous but obviously rebonded red hair. the stylist was good but as for the rebonding bit, i still love two way holistic somewhere in jurong west. tat beats the rest hands down. they have thousands of treatment with the rebonding package and you go out of the the shop with rebonded hair that falls naturally in place when you run your fingers through your hair. the kind that wont have me rushing to the nearest toilet right after rebonding just to crumple my ironed hair cos it looks flatter than an 'aa'.

on a wholly different note:
