5-km run

yesh, i know this is nowhere near a marathon, dun you start rolling your eyes at me now. but for me, its achievement enough. and i shall bask in the glory of this mini achievement, much the same way i shall be immersed tomorrow in the pains and aches in places i never knew existed. after-effect of jogging after a long sedentary puasa period.

gimme some credit, can? considering i havent run for a month, and the only exercise i got last week was a short jog cut short (pardon the pun), because i so need to visit the loo. i am still nursing my twisted ankle from the stair-fall and yoga is doing nothing for my stamina. which reminds me i need to sign up for my good-ol cardio again.

puasa's over and its time again to put on the magic running shoes and run like there's no tomorrow.

heck, i am no fitness-health freak. not by a long short. unless you consider blissfully pigging out on a family block of chocolates (almost all by myself) during maths tutorial and gobbling down a bounty bar and at least 7 cherry-ripe cadbury bars (so far) from chocolate empire as healthy.
no, i didn't think so either.

if you know me, you know the above-mentioned feats are entirely possible. my classmate asked me if i was so stressed i had to resort to nearly finishing that family block of chocolates. i told her 2 hours is a long enough time to finish eating it. am i not right? you tell me i should watch what i eat and i will shoot you the dirty look.

on a different topic altogether, i feel so accomplished. i started off the semester with 15 assignments lined up in my diary. and i remembered thinking: how the heck do i get conquer all these? well, i am proud to tell you; there's only 2 left. 2 left and a test. staring at all the crossed-out list in my diary makes me feel quite accomplished. time's moved so fast and i haven't had enough fun yet! i keep telling sharifah how i'd miss my experiences here. this place is like a nucleus of excellent company.

i had so much fun working with my project mates on one of my assignments, i had to write them this email:

"Dear both of you,

thank you for being such gerek working company. you guys were fun....from z's maths-at-two-thirty scare to s's sexy, husky voice. heehee...
i had a blast! thank you for your lovely company..

its been such a pleasure."

to which, these are my replies:

S: "Haha! What do you mean 'were fun'?!?!? We still are... hehe...I too had great fun.... hee... Been great working with you guys... If I could change who I worked with for the ICT assignment... I would not change a thing... "

Z (a 40-plus family man): "Dear All,
Me too! All for one and one for all! Cheers to the Musketeers!
I have experienced being young again!
Regards,
Z"

well, what do you know? s and i can bring the youth back to people, dudes! we should market our magical youth potion..

i can just imagine the tagline: 'Looking for eternal youth? Have fun with these crazy ladies..'

... er.. that doesn't quite come out right now, does it?
