one day along the pie..

madza 3: tens of thousands
coe: 10+++ thousands
changing and squeezing through lanes like a rabid crazed driver down the stretch of pie: brain-less
crashing your car AND shrinking your ego to the size of your balls: price-less.

i witnessed the scariest thing today. an accident waiting to happen (and happen-ed) at pie. though i have to say he deserved it. God save me and the ones i love from all harm.

i noticed the red mazda early on along the expressway. the driver was obviously whimsically fantasising he's part of the initial-d gangbang. he was also dreaming about owning the entire stretch of pie: cos he sure acted as though ini bapak dier punyer jalan (his father owns the road).

to cut the story short, the immature bugger was clearly out to prove something (his stupidity, apparently) and look for trouble with im. he was tailgating and trying to overtake im time and again all the way near clementi ave 6 and down the stretch of pie. now, the pointless thing was that im wasn't even blocking his way.

later, i saw that same idiot changed lanes so fast and so frequent that the most pai-kia taxi driver would be put to shame. he clearly thought he was the coolest road user around, i bet he did. until came the crash. if he thought he had balls, he was right-ONLY because by then, he would be aware of his balls literally squeezing their way into oblivion.

at this point i'd have to quote im for the low-down:
"... 6 car lenghts in front of me and on lane 3 immediately to my left, the red mazda was facing 90 degrees to the left, perpendicular to the e-way, and drifting leftwards. he continued spinning another 180 degrees to face completely right and perpendicular to e-way. then he spin back the other way 45 degrees facing exactly opposite of traffic flow. he continued drifting leftwards across 2 lanes (bloody stroke of luck they were empty), and abruptly slammed driver side into the railing...."

i can't believe i'm gonna say this, but it was a magnificent crash.

quite a tragic case for the car, really.
but an even more tragic blow to the driver's ego.
can't say he doesn't deserve it.
young driver. chkkk..

all i could say was given the circumstances, the situation could have been worse. it was an expressway but thank goodness when the car skidded to the left, there wasn't any cars blocking its path. and it could have been a bus-stop or a walkway he crashed into instead of railings. in both cases, he might not have been the only one injured in the process.
mighty scary, can!

post-note: and to think i was blissfully unaware of the whole road drama all along. i spotted the car early on, and was again made aware of its presence as it squeezed pass us to overtake us. he was so near and so fast, i didnt hear him coming: just a flash of red and my head pushed forward from its speed and closeness. then spotted him again much later on, changing and squeezing through lanes every few seconds in front of us. and finally of cos, witnessing the last moments of the crash.

i dunno what possessed him to act the way he did. i really don't. and for some time now, i've quit wondering what motivates stupid people to act the way they do. partly because i couldn't care less anymore, and partly due to the realisation that illogical people could think of a thousand different senseless responses to any one situation. that's why they are illogical to begin with.

i am just really thankful to God that im and i are safe, given the clearly insane nature and possible intention of that driver.
