one burnt week

i finalised the major details of my wedding preparations this week. trust me, it was a huge load off my back: so huge, i can feel myself sit straighter and walk taller already.
err....

nana has booked me to contribute for one of her engagement gifts, which is my intention in the first place. cept i was whimsically intending to give her some sort of brownies and she requested for cheese cupcakes. i have to say, despite how cheesy i am, anything to do with cheesecake isn't exactly my strongest culinary area. tho i would try, dear nana.. failing which, i would whip up another cupcake for you. i have a pretty good idea of plan b already. (heh, don't you just feel your confidence rising threefold already? heh.) and yes, i would first experiment with truckloads of flour and eggs before they're hand-delivered over to you-not to worry. by God's grace, you (or fahmi) won't be eating half-baked cupcakes from this half-baked chef.

special requests like this gets me all fired up and excited.

the momentum of school hasn't set in. my body clock is still running on its 3pm-2am slot this past week. the lack of afternoon naps and my forgetfulness to swallow my pharmaton pills have left me slightly out-of sorts to say the least. i made a trip to dreamland while on the train the other day when i realized i was smiling to myself due to whatever dream i was engaged in. later, i caught myself in the process of trying to somehow point my finger, still half-dreaming. needless to say, i wiped the smile off my face and then pretended to scratch my cheek (with my pointed finger)faster that you could say 'siao'.
the perils of sleeping in public transport.

other updates- i've grown chubbier. no, i don't think its my schizophrenia playing tricks. the baby fats are rising at the rate of johor flood water on my cheekbones. when i smile, i look like i have two paus on both sides of my face.
at least its not lopsided, i always tell myself.
i.am.one.optimistic.girl, wouldn't you say?
