dear all,

in view of my recent posting exercise and the fact that people in my line are somewhat public figures in our own rights, i have decided to shut down this site, much to my dismay.

i've been thinking about it for the past year, ever since the day i got my employment letter- to be exact, moments after i've laughed my maniacal laugh seeing the happy prints 'you've been accepted into....'.

seriously speaking, i'm in love with this blog. what started off as a tentative toe-dip in the realm of blogging 1 half years ago, manifested into a full-fledged weekly affair with blogger. this site isn't exactly my aunt agony, but suffice to say it's saved me from the brink of insanity once or twice. others might go travelling, sewing or conduct a weekly 8-km walk from the orchard road to arab street to destress, but me-i'd rather coop in my room and sink my hands into the irresistible, perky, springy feel of my.............................. keyboard. NERD.

i think aptly put, this blog is really my weak attempt at entertaining myself. oh well, whatever works...

does closing this site mean that all my childish half-brained posts,together with their lame jokes will be virtually lost in, erm, virtual land?
HELL, NO!
i'd happily eat up a bar of antiseptic soap before i ever let that happen. i'm currently in the process of manually importing my posts, (all childish 259 of them) into a much more private site, which would not constantly appear like an eager jack-in-the-box in any google results page (the way blogger does).

i'm putting this up for the next 26 days for anyone who still cares to visit... and come the end of the month, this blog will be officially pulled down.

does this mean, my babbling will stop here? (yeah, yeah... i could picture some of you looking up at the sky, going, "thank God for small favours" at this point) but.........

HELL, NO! i can shut my site, but you can't shut my mouth (nannynannypoopoo).

in a sense, its much more convenient too, cos you can view my photos, videos and all other nonsense that is known-to-be-synonymous-with-ooziee all under one roof page...

till, then.. as they say in mission impossible:

this page will self-destruct in 26 days...

heh.. i'm still corny, you see?

ps: a request- all the good people who still have my link up on their pages.. i would really appreciate it if you would erase my link off, too? pretty please.
