of being too free and being engaged

the internet is evil: that much i can tell you.

i started the day yesterday with utmost purest intentions of starting on my work, but livejournals stole my heart and the stark, gaping hole of the google search bar filled my need for information.
today, i lugged my sis' laptop to a memorable spot in NUS. suffice to say, i was at least 1500 percent more productive on word count.
not one word was splayed on my word document yesterday.-_-

looking at the pile of work left undone, the unwelcome visitor decided to pay a timely visit: sashayed its way in yesterday like a diva clamouring for attention. more 'thumped' than 'sashayed' actually.

the stress headache struck again-i should make that into a headline.

i mulled over it for an hour, willing it to go away with yoga breathing exercises. didn't happen, of cos. hah. between the 2 best painkillers i know, i opted for pan-ting over pan-adol. chased my headache off by running.
gone in 10 minutes flat: the best, natural mood-lifter, stress-buster, pain-killer, i tell you.

my workout is not erm, working out anymore. despite upping my reps and resistance, i could no longer feel the aching muscles the day after. which is to say, i probably am not deteriorating but i definitely am not improving either.
no, i'm not a fitness freak and have no intentions of tranforming into one. it isn't my intention to morph myself into something horizontally-challenged either. after all, you are looking at the girl who had been labelled pregnant by some(one). (though at the same time, labelled as skinny if only by frumpy, definitely-not-skinny some).
how pregnant and skinny comes together, i don't know. you go figure.
as far as i'm concerned, i just can't shortchange myself. i'd like to look 25 when i'm 25 and not a day older.

on a wholly different note, ardah's engaged! woohoohoo baybeh! its kinda amusing seeing her try really, really, and i mean really hard to maintain her composure the way brides are supposed to do. she managed quite well, i must say, though she nearly flipped bonkers when she saw us shooting subjects (and by that, i mean ourselves) other than her. hah. well, heck coy, doe-eyed brides. i was shrilling with emotions on my engagement day, but was promptly shush-ed by the mak andam and the bestie -_-.
they thought my behaviour was totally inappropriate and unacceptably unbecoming.

i don't need to tell you how ardah looks. you find out for yourself-you'll see what i mean.
