outdated dates

snapshots from earlier outings that i promised i'd upload, but hadnt gotten the chance to.

the gorgeous doll, nana, went through all the trouble of gathering my closest friends for a cosy girls' night in over at my place... truly touched. such a darling that one is.

she got me boas and masks for the day (and for later use, but that's not something you'd like to know)

she brought my favourite kinda balloons, reminiscent of old days gone by where 'hiro' is the best canteen cake around and countless balloon fumes sniffed in gives you an unexplicable kinda high (for me, at least).

complete with a gift pack for each of the girls.

she made me strut along the streets at night with feathery boa around my neck... but not before she sets the example herself...

my fav shot. looking every bit like a lost, glam-ed up madame diva armed a camera slung across and clutching a balloon straw for a cigarette (jadilah).

the nie pals round up our gang members for a night out eating and then belting cheesy karaoke tunes and then, konking out in a freezing antartica room which temperature we had no means of adjusting just cos.. we cant find the thersmostat until the day after, when frostbites are imminent and any additional fats have been burned off through the night to provide the much-needed heat. -_-

i have gorgeous friends.

nana and shikin, my favourite primary schoolmates. while nana and i have kept in contact for a good part of 26 years, both of us lost touch with shikin for a while. when i saw her at my ceremony that day, i can't help fighting back a rush of emotions. for even though a good one and a half decade have passed by, these 2 still reside in that cosy precious spot in my heart, reserved for a selected few. and while i was decked out in the heaviest songket, shiniest headdress with flowers in my hair, seeing those 2 side by side again, made me feel 'all of 10-years of age all over again', as aptly put by nana.
