grand plans for sunday:

- apple crumbles for ourselves and the in-laws
- dashing off to a wedding that we cant miss between 1 to 2.
- before that, sheng shiong and the story of 3 missed train rides totalling a good 40 plus minutes because:
1. i wanted to got that those sports drinks for our jogs
2. i wanted to go weigh some la-las
3. i was fascinated by some contraption or the other that could help me slice my onions.

the in-laws have been most giving and generous. for the past 2 weeks, we have been greeted with tupperwares containing dishes hanging from our gate when we got home from our usual satur-days out. yummy dishes that i dont even dare think of concocting even in my most domesticated dreams. before these, there were others.
you can imagine the number of tupperwares that we had in our store room.
needless to say, you can also imagine how embarrassed i was that i havent gotten the chance to replenish and return those containers.

of course, sensibly speaking, it would be a lot easier to go down to the cake shop to fill those containers up. but, no...... domestication prevails and the part of me of that still hasnt quite gotten used to feeling like a housewife decide to take over, roll my sleeves up and start everything from scratch.

12.30- crumbles baking and yana's feeling a little kan-cheong at the thought of having less than one half hour to rush from here to there and catch the newly weds before they rush off themselves. the bakery did seemed like a good idea, albeit a tad bit ltoo ate. nvm, switch on the computer, found he page and asked im to note down the stated address while i go figure out what to wear. no sooner than soon, im came looking a little confused and bemused (cos he trusts me fully to pull these sorta stunts) asking, " how come the date's different from today?"

*slaps forehead*

see raf, i was so psyched about your wedding, i took the liberty to bring it forward by 2 weeks.

one good thing came out of it:

with ben and jerry's.
