house project 1 (lazy ass's guide to curtain sewing)

living room curtains.
done-ed.

i cant find any other words that fit, except for: i think i'm mad (you don't have to agree with me).

i have no freaking idea what possessed me to sew my own curtains. especially not since in my entire life,
my affliation with curtains has not been very evident, and all of non-existent. having an elder sis who loves decorating means that i have been able to dodge my way through anything curtain-related for the longest time; from sewing, to ironing, pleating and hanging them up (but i do help with the cooking.).

moreover, i hate sewing.
hate. it.
my experiences with the sewing machine are solely limited to sewing a sorry piece of c r ap, an apron and a pair of hideous flowery cullotes during home econs lessons.
and altering my various tops and bottoms- but that doesnt count.

and since i dah menggatal beli this fabric, i have no other choice but to sew it.
little wonder that i should feel extremely nervous at the though of spoiling this lovely brocade design cos of my own inaptness. that would be very embarrassing and not-so-smart indeed. and little surprise, that i refused to use the sewing machine at all cost.

that's where the fabric glue come in handy.
hah. nampak sah pemalas.

i managed to stitch up all the hems threadless and without ever the need to prick any of my fingers only to end up falling asleep- which i'm very inclined to do when it comes to something as hideously boring as curtain-sewing.

fabric glue, i love you!
