blood

unlike the-rest-of-the-world who always seem to be angry with the-rest-of-the-world , she keeps her peace about her. in this angst-driven society, where people often equate 'dissatisfaction' as the new 'enpowerment', she counts her blessings. and while the world wage wars, she seeks solace.

i think my sis is beautiful.

she possesses such calmness and gentleness in her spirit that could only radiate from someone who comprehends. mengerti.

she makes me aspire to be like her.

i've declared this to the-rest-of-the-world, except to the very person who needs to hear it from me.
i'm really not the mushy sort, but i think i'll give her a jab in the arm and tell her she's great- next time we meet.

its funny how my siblings and i seem to talk more as we move away from each other. i think i've exchanged more words with my brother in these seven months than i ever did in the last 2 years living under the same roof.

we are never the mushy, touchy-feely sorts. in terms of responses and expressions, i reckon you'll get luckier talking to brick wall than any of us, but when it boils down to things that really matter..... 'i got your back'.
they keep me grounded.
blood.
